Vital Energy: what is and how is demonstrable

Life Energy in general is considered that potential, usually invisible, which allows everything to be as it is.
What I mean by "to be as it is"?

A stone differs from a crystal because its vital energy keeps cohesion qualities that make it up in that specific way.
A blade of grass is just as it is until, for possible causes of various kinds,
its vital energy can not keep more cohesion in its substance; therefore tends to decompose.
An animal is just as it is until death will lead to the loss of the ability of aggregating
given by the vital energy; so the body will consequently disrupt.

As a result of this theory, I could give a basic definition that distinguishes the mineral world by those of plants and animals:
1 . the first has the characteristic of a very static energy, ie, tending to keep the shapes long time in the same manner
2 . the latter have a more dynamic energy, that is tending to flow through the physical
body.
What does
it mean?
W
e can understand through some consequences:
*** In the mineral world, there is a condition that seems to remain the same over time and that usually
is encoded by the word "inanimate", that is without a soul.
*** In the plant world there is a condition that does not remain the same over time, but since it does not seem to have qualities of thought and choice, is put in doubt whether
could have a soul or not
*** In the animal world there is a condition of thought, choice and action ;
this conditions suggest the idea that there is something inside that is called soul (so called animal because is animated).

But what does the word "soul" mean?
It means the principle that allows you to live .
Often one gets confused, in relation to what I described above, thinking that the mineral is not living .... but on the other hand this also
takes part to life because exists ..... isn't it?
So .... all
what exists is therefore a in a living condition? Yes, even if in a different way, although with a different life, even if with different dynamics, albeit with higher or lower states of consciousness.
If you agree on that, we can get to the next step, sayi
ng that everything is alive, everything has an energy, more or less dense, more or less dynamic that creates cohesion and maintains the shape of anything. This energy is the energy of his life (life or vital energy), this is his "soul" (principle of existence).
Many have been accustomed to
connect the idea of the soul to inner states or to pseudo-characterial states; but why call the impulses that make everybody doing what he is doing with the name instead of what keeps it alive?

The human being, for example, when dies has the body that starts to decompose, while the vital energy is gone lost, ie,  its aggregating force is not more successful in maintaining together the material parts composing it. As a result of the loss of the soul, it also loses the ability to use the mind and the conscious/unconscious states, from which are derived then thought - choices - actions ..... only as a result.
If you try to free yourself from the concept that
is commonly thought, you will see this idea in a basic logic manner, useful to recognize how life works in us and around us.

A proof of the vital energy is the Kirlian Camera . This is a device that allows you to photograph the flow of energy that can be, without cheat, printed on photo paper or digitally: Could be done both in the mineral world by objects, such as by plants, animals and of course by the human being. It was found that the mineral forms of life have a low potential energy ( vital energy being more static and therefore, likewise, with life without, from our normal point of view, visible changes), while that of the human being is an energy with a higher potential (being a vital energy more dynamic and therefore, likewise, with the changing forms of life, with changing states of consciousness).

By Kirlian Camera it is possible to capture on paper the image of the emanation of vital energy from a piece of mineral (ie as the soul) but it takes a longer time for the Camera; to photograph the emanation from a plant times are getting shorter; to that of an animal, the time is even shorter. Kirlian photography, for example, of a hen's egg can show its vitality depending on whether it is fertilized or not.

--- It is fairly well known the practice of Crystal Therapy and the use of precious and semi-precious stones; these must be kept in contact or in close proximity with your body in order to obtain a communication of frequencies. Its vital energy is radiated; different and specific frequencies are spread out from each different type of stone .

--- A leaf cut from a plant has lost its ability to maintain the vital energy inside, so it begins to wilt. The Kirlian Camera has shown that the energetic emanation, even if photographed at intervals of a few hours, tended to decrease until is completely disappeared.

--- In the human beings are known cases of people who fail to see the Vital Aura, the Halo, given by the issue of the continue dynamic flow of life energy that we have. This the force that allows us to stay alive, animated. In the human being is most easily seen, as I said before, because it is an energy force of higher potential and more dynamic.

Other means using the vital energy :

  •  Acupuncture, Shiatsu and Tuina massage, Reflexology, Acupressure, the Fingerpressure, Auriculotherapy and more; all methods that act on the vital energy making to address where there is not enough. If not recharged where there isn't, this tends to get sick, which means that it is losing the ability to hold the aggregate in its original condition; matter tends to devitalize, until it are lost the life properties.
  • Pranotherapy, used for thousands of years by those who are able to channel the flow of vital energy to those who need it
  • Homeopathy, by remedies composed only by pure life force energy, which is useful to recharge potential shortage; this condition is linked to the fact that the formation of a symptom that indicates that something is not going in ease, that in common speech is called disease
  • Pranayama techniques that utilize the particular systems that permit that completely unusual breathing methods may channel much more vital energy in selected areas of the body

the Vitalizing Diet, which consists of eating freshly harvested products, so still alive; allows you to recharge vitality. Eating foods that are dead, canned, processed, cooked, etc. does not give regeneration of vital frequencies.

I will stop here and I'll continue at the next post on: " Pranayama techniques
for Yoga, channeling the energy of life ."     I wait for you soon ....

What is Caduceus and relationship with Kundalini and Chakra

The Caduceus is a symbol that is reported to the times in which it was used by the Romans as a symbol of messengers mediation, as being in balance between the parties. In other cases it is connected to the god Hermes who mediated between men and gods.
Nowadays is used in many Countries as a symbol of the pharmacopoeia .

The Caduceus is a symbol born in even more ancient times, about 6000 years ago, when the ancient sages Rishi, in the Indus valley, spotted the potential, latent and sleeping energy, which was called Kundalini .

The symbol consists of two entwined snakes, with a stick in the middle and on top two  wings. What could it mean ?
The two entwined serpents may indicate two energy channels,  very important in our subtle body, called in Sanskrit Ida and Pingala. These are the two fundamental sources of the two polarities, positive and negative (for example another philosophy call them yin and yang ), which, when balanced, enable the best assets in the body and in the ways of being. One of the fundamental techniques, discovered in ancient times, acts in the way to let flow more energy in these two channels; this practice makes a sense, hearing from outside, of a hissing sound. So who, in that time, had witnessed this practice,  connected this sound to the similar  hiss of snakes ... and so had drawn Ida and Pingala like two snakes.
The central stick usually had, in the original design, even a sphere in the bottom. The energy called Kundalini (meaning wrapped, that is not expressed in all its possible length), that is flowing up through the central channel (Sushumna in Sanskrit) allows to activate all of the major energy centers (in Sanskrit Chakra) . To obtain the consequent enlargement of the Chrakra, is required to use some techniques shaking the area where this potential energy is, at the base of the spine which is the physical area where this kind of sphere of potential energy is. Therefore the design is that the central axis (a stick) has to shake the dormant energy (Kundalini) on bottom.
The wings at the top,  indicate that the flight possible when the potentiality is reactivated and has climbed up to the upper chakras. The condition acquired is the possibility to go beyond the mental limits, to which everybody is usually relegated, almost to fly up, beyond.
And you know why the base of the spinal cord is also called "sacrum"? Because it refers to the physical counterpart where is located this powerful energy, the most holy energy useful for living te best life.

Since many centuries later,  arrived in the western Countries news about the possibility of awakening this latent energy, and of the skills acquired as result; some researchers began to investigate how it could be possible to achieve this. But not knowing the related techniques (as residing in quite different geographical areas) was thought to act on the matter itself, trying to create a compound that can then transform the normal earthly perception in the superior one. Thus was born the search for the " philosopher's stone " and who was devoted to this research was called Alchemist.

They said, well, that this stone would have given the power to transform everything into gold. This idea lurked an esoteric concept; what might be able to turn everything into gold, so to do that all could be really precious? Many Alchemists thought that the only reference to it was feasible when becoming able to develop the capacities of higher consciousness, condition that allows to fly above the usual normal worldly knowledge (the wings of the Caduceus), to see everything as gold, the preciousness of everything around us. They began to arrange suitable laboratories to research this product and began to experiment.

Thus was born the chemistry and the laboratory processing of the elements. Then doing tests with products produced, they saw that some could be useful to get better in relations of symptoms during diseases.
Thus was born the pharmacopoeia chemistry, which uses even now, in many places, the ancient symbol of the Caduceus.

History shows that very deep meanings are often reported more and more, over the course of the centuries, and, in different ways, the exact ancient vision get lost, interpretations change, purposes become different,  effects are no longer related to the original ones.
The RAM for Yoga ( Rishi Ancient Methods) techniques were collected by extensive studies and patients practical experiments on these topics. RAM allow to go back to the deeper meanings and more profitable results, discovered in the ancient original practices; are systems that allow to bring to all states of well-being on all levels and to achieve higher states of consciousness.
You can find something for knowing how to do it,  on the website of All the Best in Your Life www.allthebestinyourlife.com

Since we're talking about for a while, in the next post I will write about "The Life Energy, what it is and how it can be demonstrated"

A general idea on Chakras

The Chakras (a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or vortex of energy) are the means to exchange the vital energy (Prana in Sanskrit) present in the body with the outside world. Consequently to the amount of energy in each of these vortices there will be too much or too little charge in their related physical organs and, in the same time, there will be increased or decreased quality levels of mental-emotional states.

The Chakras are able to select each one a different frequency of energy.
A very simple example is to relate them to a guitar, where each string is able to select a different sound and notes.
But if the main channel, where the Chakras are, is not functioning sufficiently, how can these energy centers give their positive natural effects? It would be like saying, going back to the simple example given above, as if they were strings of a guitar on the instrument but with the cash that is broken ... the sounds would no longer be harmonious and pleasing.

The same thing happens to the human being ... his situations in life are no more harmonious and pleasant, but it seems to be normal just because it is so commonly seen around us.

Even if you would like to deepen your knowledge of how operate the subtle and profound mechanisms inside of us, it may seem to you any more a strange idea that the cause of all our ills depend mainly on the fact that the main channel can not do its job in a right way, the way useful to each of the most important seven Chakras.
But the science and practice for Yoga shows how is connected the fact that these seven energy centers, when not balanced, lead to illness and to psycho-emotional bad effects.
Describing in broad terms the Chakras starting from the bottom one, they represent and stimulate :
  • the natural forces that promote the continuity of the species
  • the instinctual forces pushing to own things in order to survive
  • the inner forces that give impulses to physical and physiological reactions
  • the forces that produce all what we desire
  • the forces that allow to relate with the outside world
  • the forces that lead to intuitive states
  • the forces that drive awareness beyond the visible world related to the five senses

Each Chakra, at the physical level, is related to a Plexus, which in turn connects to one or more fundamental organs; malfunction leads to a force poorly formed and the resulting unbalanced state is said disease.
It is a so fascinating subject that deserves to be investigated more. The International School Yoga in Your Life also takes care to explain everything in a more detailed manner and to learn the RAM ( Rishi Ancient Methods) that allow the Chakras to operate well, through the awakening of Kundalini.

In the next Post I will discuss some points about What is Caduceo and relations with Kundalini and Chakras.

What corresponds the meaning of Kundalini ?

The word Kundalini is used in modern times, inappropriately. In fact, somebody called Kundalini Yoga the same collection of gymnastics copied from Hatha Yoga Asanas.
But the methods for the awakening of Kundalini are quite different .....
      So, what is Kundalini ?

The word Kundalini, translated from Sanskrit, means dormant coiled energy.
What does it mean dormant and coiled?
It means that, consequently several and different explainable reasons, our life energy, named Prana, is unable to flow properly along a specific energy channel. This is the most important one that we have, located, in relation to physical level, in alignment to the spinal cord. Prana is not flowing well inside of this channel; for this reason is defined that the energy should be potentially there. The consequence is that we suffer of many inside and outside troubles. So it is called as a sleeping potentiality, not already awakened.
The word coiled is used because when this vital energy is stimulated (awakened) to pass along this channel, called Sushumna, can be described as if something is stretched upwards, ie changes from coiled to elongated.

Along this channel are situated the main Chakras (that means from Sanskrit wheels or vortices of energy); about them I will give you a description in the next Post.
In our subtle body, also called the energy body, there is a huge number of channels or lines where Prana, or vital energy, could flow. All cells, tissues, organs and therefore the entire body system, can stay well, work at the best, when are supplied by the right amount of vitality. I would like to emphasize that to speak about vitality it is not the same thing as talking about the energy that is produced by the body's metabolism; this last one is the energy producing the thermo- dynamic processes through which the human body is able to work and act.

The energy channels are called, according to various studies such as acupuncture, acupressure, finger pressure, shiatsu, Do-in, Tuina, auriculotherapy, reflexology, etc., are then called by various names, as meridians , Tsubo , etc.. All these systems now mentioned describe the superficial energy channels, used for therapeutic purposes.
So what was discovered by the ancient sages Rishi?

They discovered the existence of a network of energy channels, calling them Nadi, superficial as deepest ones, for a total of 72,000. All together are forming the complex system which is carrying vitality life force everywhere in the body.
Also they spotted that this main channel, Sushumna, doesn't allow the energy to flow freely; the vitality, forced to be blocked, is called Kundalini. The Chakras, centers of psycho-physical balance, suffer consequently many damages (see more in the next Post).
The ancient Rishis studied and experimented for long time, till when they discovered specific methods that would allow the awakening of Kundalini, its unfolding, rise and stretching up. Sushumna channel can be opened by everybody!

Various methods are needed for this purpose, as adequate mental impulses, special breathing chanelling pranic energy, specific movements and body postures, relaxation techniques releasing unconscious tensions.
The purpose of the awakening of Kundalini is to get the right activity of the Chakras, to regain the best physical health, psyco-emotional balance, higher states of consciousness and enlightenment; these are not only hypothesis but everything can be explained and interpreted till details.

At this point I wonder if you agree with me that what is called Kundalini Yoga, practiced only as complicated gymnastic for giving power to the muscles, does not have much to share with the real meaning of Kundalini ....

I wait for you at the next post, where I would like to give you, in short, A general idea on Chakras.

The meaning and purpose of what has been described as Ashtanga.

In the ancient text written by Patanjali "Yoga Sutras" is described in brief the usefulness and purpose of the practices to attain the state of Yoga. This text is primarily concerned with describing what is commonly called Raja Yoga , the part that is improving the mental capacity to achieve the state of contemplation, that permits to upgrade consciousness and awareness. The text gives not so much space to the part that is commonly referred as Hatha Yoga, which devotes attention to physical and relational ways of being, so our more visible constituents.
The path described by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras is encoded, according to the practical experience of thousands of years, through eight steps , of which the first four can be taken as part of Hatha Yoga, the last four as Raja Yoga. These eight steps are called, in Sanskrit literal translation, Ashtanga, that means eight limbs or components.
Who wants to take the path towards the acquisition of Yoga has to practice the methods connected to these eight steps; without these eight limbs, without this path, it is not possible to reach the state of Yoga.
      The eight steps are:
Yama : modes of conduct favorable, that must be not felt as rules to be followed compulsorily
Niyama : useful conditions, but not something that has to be done compulsively
Asana : to reach specific static and comfortable body postures through particular methods engaging, in the same time, body, mind, energy, character, etc
Pranayama : special breathing techniques moving life energy to specific points
Pratyahara : to acquire ability to manage the use or not use of sensory perceptions
Dharana : concentration, ie channeling the mind on what and how long time you want
Dhyana : meditation, ie use the mind to get into intuitive and clarifying states
Samadhi : go beyond the intuitive/clarifying states to reach the state of contemplation, condition that creates awareness leading to the absolute truths.
One might ask now : why gymnastic exercises very striking and dynamic, many times forced and extreme, vigorous and power minded, are called in modern times Ashtanga Yoga?

In my opinion there is no connection .... and according to you ?
Why so many persons agree with this method and follow it?
In my opinion for little knowledge of the topic!
Why happens that so many people want to practice this system?
In my opinion only because they think to be able afterwards to do admirable and glamorous things, also giving themselves a sense of cleverness ....

Probably all this people don't know that this modern system doesn't lead to a totalitarian feel good as suggested by the ancient methods. What was studied and practiced by the ancient sages Rishi is from millennia the only one collection of methods that permit to realize all the highest qualities during life.

Unfortunately, nowadays it is not easy to discriminate between what is useful and what is in reality only something apparently and superficial.

And do you know to What corresponds the meaning of Kundalini? At the next Post....

      What Asana mean?

Asana in Sanskrit means “static position of the body" or also "comfortable position for the body".
At this point I ask you: do you see any connection between what is usually proposed and the original meaning of Asana? If the answer is no, it means that what is required to do is not a Yoga practice..... and then the results that are expected wont be the same! So why teachers call something else Asana? Because they rely on the fact that the participants don't know much about it and therefore they “sell” something different from what it should be.

Asana, as static position, what does it mean? It means to wisely move the body until it reaches a certain position, that is able to stimulate some physical mechanisms as well vital energy energy and character; in order to obtain positive results, it must be given time to all the various mechanisms, to let them have the chance to be influenced and absorb the positive influence that is given in that moment. So it is essential that the body must be stopped, still, to give the right time to the body to work deeply and to benefit to the positive related effects.
Asana, as comfortable position, represent a position in which the body does not create any hassle during the process of the pose: otherwise it would become a source of fight between benefits and pain, a condition that is not harmonic at all! Harmony, as we previously said, is one of the fundamental goals of the system. Asana, the position in which the body is brought to remain still, is neither easy nor difficult, it must be just gradual; step by step the body will improve and acquire features that are not appropriate to deal by forcing methods.

What Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga mean?

Ha and Tha are two Sanskrit words that mean the Sun and the Moon and represent the two polarities, positive and negative.

      Raja Yoga
This name aims to underline the importance that should be given to the balance, that is that state of union that brings to the harmony of the opposites, as we said previously , that means the elimination of conflict of any kind.
Raja, also from Sanskrit, means Royal. This name emphasizes the importance of these systems and therefore it was given the name of the highest existing office at that time, the king.
Both systems are indivisible to each other (just as like the other systems that later had been called Karma, Jnana, Mantra, Kundalini, etc.).

Unfortunately, the passing of time has done nothing more than producing subdivisions and make the system less effective because it has been fragmented: the proposals more and more had to move away from its original set. So Yoga was linked to cults and religions, philosophies, lifestyles, traditions, ..... until today, when it is reduced to a semi-acrobatic gymnastics or a kind of stretching or a prenatal method.
The resume of the effective techniques from ancient systems is not evil: it can be useful, but they are not what Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga are, i.e. methods for improvement and evolution of body and inner growth, inseparably together.
Therefore it is essential to remember that the methods for Yoga have their beginning with the use of the body through exercises called Asana, which must be applied simultaneously with all the inner mechanisms that make up the complex machine that is the human being .

Do you know What Asana is? Some guidances in the next Post.

How to get to the Yoga state?

In their researches, the Rishis realized (and we can now realize the same, if we take a chance) that thought is highly elusive (an equal basis are the other sides as psychological, emotional, temperamental, etc.). Try to close your eyes and stand still for 10 minutes and see how many things, mostly unsolicited, crop in your mind.

Since it is so difficult to manage these mechanisms (because evanescent), the Rishis initially thought of using the body as a vehicle to promote the use of mental processes. We are inside our body but it is the mind that dominates all mechanisms: i.e. using the body as the most concrete and helpful instrument available to get up to the internal mechanisms, some of them very subtle. Body and mind influence each other (nowadays the human being is defined as entirely psychosomatic). The Rishis began to "manage" the body in very specific and refined ways for accustoming – at the same time - the mind to to be managed in a more “easy” position. So it came to the fact that the increased management condition brought to the possibility to put all the inside-outside components in a balanced cooperation, from the gross to the subtle ones and producing that the entire system could acquire insurmountable states of equilibrium and harmony. The body, studied and trained in these ways, become healthy and free from unnatural conditions, conflicts and negative emotional states become overcome, the inner wellbeing is ongoing, vital energy circulate better, the conscious state reaches the highest levels, the mind becomes quiet, the spirit enters into states of higher consciousness.
These management methods (RAM, Rishi Ancient Methods for Yoga) over time have been divided into Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga, so also spreading to other countries , each culture took a small part in local traditions and introduced it giving some other names such as Vipassana , Thai Chi Chuan , Buddhism , Zen, etc. .
Now wee would like to see: What the Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga are? See you at the next Post!

      Wednesday, 19 February 2014

      So... what is Yoga?

The original practices for acquiring the Yoga state were developed thousands of years ago by the Rishis, the ancient wise men studying the human nature, who lived in the Indus Valley and who devoted their entire existence to the practical research of how to reach their maximum balance and consciousness.

They found out various mechanisms and obtained important results; as they became able to expand their consciousness, they understood the mechanisms related to the Existence itself. All of may sound weird and impossible at a first glance, but the state of union, which was developed by the Rishis at the highest level, can bring to Awareness beyond the imaginable, till up to the highest levels.
Therefore, the Yoga state, namely union , conjunction and subjugation, may be the most important and decisive factor for our existence: it is the most complete path to gain physical and inner improvement, the best to feel good, as well as allowing us to put ourselves in tune with the whys of life.

Please follow me in the next post for some hints on: How to get the Yoga state?

      Tuesday, 18 February 2014

What is an harmonious and balanced state?

Could it be, then, that the states of non-wellbeing - that means the feeling when there is something disturbing (which does not necessarily mean to feel really bad), or having too often the feeling that there is something going wrong (while what is going well seems pretty rare), depend on the world around us?
If we look closely we will see that it depends on our physical and inner situations. Depends on the fact that we lack of balance and harmony, so, in parallel, the body and our inner being are in a disturbed state.

Let me give you an example (perhaps excessive): imagine to have a 100% state of harmony; is there any space for discordant situations? It's impossible to go beyond 100%! I mean that if we are filled with harmony, anything outside us would not be able to damage us.
Many of you might say: I feel in harmony but it happens so many times that I lose this situation! It takes you some time to elaborate on the following concept: try to avoid prepackaged mental mechanisms. So.... if discordant states appear, it means that we do not have 100% of harmony; in proportion as these take place we have a proportional amount of discordant inner conditions.
Someone else might say now: you make it easy, nobody can have 100% of harmony! This is a fairly popular belief, an idea taken for granted, but I'm not sure it's the truth! If I have now 20% of harmony, then I can reach 30%, then 40% and so on. So I mean that - without discussing on the 100%, which I only used as an example - there are possibilities to improve ourselves, it is demonstrable and if you use them you can move forward.... without a doubt!

If you are not able to ride a horse, it doesn't mean that you'll never be a good horseman; if you are not able to play the piano, you can always learn how to do it.... I can do thousand examples, just do not doubt about what is possible.
Life is a progression of experiences in which you acquire more and more skills. Though it seems strange that we do not spend time learning how to be more in harmony in our life....

Trying to resume what has been said so far (although it is difficult here have the chance of answering to any question or be completely clear for everyone....) in the next post we will talk about: so, what is Yoga?

      Monday, 17 February 2014

      Why Yoga also means "subjugation"?

In modern languages we would say that the word "subjugation" means "a state in which something becomes used to be managed". Therefore the ancient methods for reaching the Yoga state are finely processed in the view that all our components (physical, mental, character, psychological, emotional, conscious and unconscious , energetic and all subtle means) could be put, in any proposed exercises, in action at the same time, so that all of them are used in synchrony. What happens afterwards? That, by this wise manner, all the components blend together, since they are put in action at the same time; all our components are trained to work together at the same level, creating the conditions to form harmonic states. How could be possible to have dis-harmonic states if we get used to "manage" all our components in parallel to each other?

It would be like saying that a centipede has been used to move his feet each on its own, everything seems difficult for him, he gets angry and nervous, unable to go anywhere, finalizing quite nothing... When patiently he begins to manage his feet moving synchronously, one after the other, all begins to work at the best. It happens the same in a business company... if the owner says to do something, the director does something else and finally each employee does what he wants, this company will risk the bankrupt; but if among all the components there is harmony of purposes, there is a good team and that will bring the company to be successful.
This happens for any condition in ourselves and in our lives. Therefore it is necessary to take care of ourselves globally speaking, learning to manage all harmoniously!

As a result of "union, conjunction and subjugation" we could move to speak a few words on: What is a harmonious and balanced state? In the next post we will introduce you our opinion about!

      Friday, 14 February 2014

Why Yoga is a state of "conjunction” ?

Thanks to the Yoga practice, gradually we will feel more united with what surrounds us; this condition creates harmony within ourselves, representing a non-conflict situation.
A few examples: it may happen to have disagreements with various people, often we think that it's their fault, but maybe also the other party thinks that the fault is ours.

Achieving this interior state called "conjunction", we won't only think from our point of view and, also, don't let us go to reactions that come automatically.
Although it might seem strange, the state of conjunction allows us to better understand each other and therefore do not blame ourselves or other people (even in this case the reaction of conflict does not bring any kind of benefit, only makes us feeling badly). Someone will say: but then, I'll do whatever the others want? No, certainly not, we will follow our own choices as we want, acting more harmoniously.... without repressing, without striving, without undergoing ....

And so, by gradual steps, we will naturally get the harmony (in conjunction) with everything is around us, even with the Creation and what is Beyond.
The state of Yoga is, in fact, a augmentative becoming of interior and exterior harmonic states.
But how could be done practically ? In the next post you'll find: Why Yoga also means "subjugation" ?

What is this state of "union" for?

The state of "union" is explainable as a state of non-separation ... obvious and logical, isn't it? It's a state that the ancient methods of Yoga permit to achieve.
We will make an example - choosing among the so many factors on which the state of union is effective: the relation between the state of the conscious mind and that of the unconscious mind. Our unconscious is often called a mischievous little boy who behaves as he wants, escaping to our management. So often it happens that unconscious and conscious point in different directions, creating a state of disharmony in the person, which is also called conflict.

Some examples: I'm going to an exam, I know the subject quite well, but anyway my unconscious makes me have fear that sometimes could undermine what I know; or I find a streak on the bodywork of my car and I immediately know - consciously – that there is anything I can do, but my subconscious gives me uncontrollable anger and frustration which, by the way, I consciously know that are useless and make me feel bad (maybe you are asking yourself: is my unconscious working against me? Because it is not acting productively!); or I see from far away my girlfriend coming along with another guy: suddenly I feel a wave of jealousy within me, although I know consciously that she is really in love with me (and by the way I consciously know that if she had chosen another guy I could not do anything about it... but in any case my subconscious makes me sick!), or I get angry when a person makes a comment negative on my dress, when I consciously recognize that the other person may just have a different taste. And so there are a thousand examples that occur in our everyday life....

Too often we are accustomed to think that anger is dependent on external factors, but we do not think that largely depends on a conflict (state of no-union, which represents a no-harmonic condition) between conscious and unconscious.

Thanks to the ancient Yoga techniques, it is possible to get the unconscious to be collaborative and not reactive.
And how is possible to explain the concept:

      What is the Yoga state?

Everywhere we hear and read that people "practice Yoga", but if Yoga is a state, a condition, how can you practice it? Yoga is the result of practices that prepare the way to get such a state. It would be like saying, for example, that people say that they "practice knowledge"; in reality people “practice the study” that afterwards will give them the state of knowledge .
Now someone might say that we're just quibbling over words!

In my view it is not so, because nowadays the great variety of results and the achievable effects related to Yoga are not taken into account because the methods are not used in the correct way to get them.
As I previously said, Yoga is a method much more refined than the ones usually proposed: if you follow them you could never get all the benefits connected with Yoga.

It would be like saying, returning to the example given before, that my scope of studying is leafing through the pages of books or rip them up to make boats or airplanes or use them to light the fire, ... .

After that I realize that it would be impossible to achieve the purpose that books have, which is mainly enjoying the benefits of knowledge.

If we know the goals that a system offers, we could definitely get used to recognize if we make things relevant and motivated to such purposes. We can certify if we are going in that direction for full effects or if we will get only a small slice of them. Thus, we must choose and pick what we want: a choice that leads to just a little and look for another one that brings better results .
So, now it is important to understand: What is this state of union for? Find out more on the next Post.

      Meaning of the word "Yoga"

Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means "to unite, to join, to subjugate". The original methods proposed for obtaining such a Yoga state are gradual and progressive.

How is it possible that nowadays, most of the courses around the world propose acrobatic exercises, stretching exercises, a soft or tiring gymnastic and much more, without a specific reason? Take a look on Youtube, where it looks like the only scope behind this is making a show to the family and friends... and this represent only a small part of those who are teaching “borrowing” the word Yoga.

Actually it is extremely rare that an instructor could really explain how these weird exercises lead to the states of "union, join and subjugation": many of them, with a superficial culture and experience, sell themselves as pseudo- experts, sometimes even through an attractive appearance of “guru”.
In this blog we would like to clear up at least a few points, so that what you will choose in this field will be done with consciousness and understanding. Therefore we ask you to be patient in order to get a better idea of what we are talking about and then you can judge us.

In the next post we will talk about :

      How many times...

Knowing how to drive ourselves at all levels means knowing how to manage ourselves in all points of view; it is what lead us to overcome the so called obstacles of life, and to live the events without damages or any unpleasant consequence.
So it is easier, although it still requires commitment to go towards the results that you desire, to achieve our goals without breakages.

In our life how many accidents, I would say countless, can be avoid or overcome without suffering deeply. How many times we do not feeling good, feeling like having certain types of disorders; how many times we do not feel happy or have unpleasant reactions or do not interacting positively; how many times we feel having a bad character, living disturbing sensations; how many times we are not aware of ourselves, feeling often drains, with just a little enthusiasm; how many times we are in a bad mood and struggling with the outside world, ... and a lot more.
The methods of Yoga are the driving school to simply acquire the ability to handle the complexity of ourselves, to be aware of the mechanisms of life and to be able to live in balance and in harmony !
